1. Who we are, and what these terms are for

These terms of service govern the use of the MysteryScript service, published by Capritora SRL, 488 chaussée de Louvain, 1380 Ohain, Belgium (company number 0786.931.405, VAT BE 0786.931.405). By creating an account and using the service, you accept them.

The service is intended for consumers. An up-to-date version of these terms is always accessible from the footer, in a format you can keep and print.

2. What MysteryScript offers

MysteryScript analyses the form of your handwriting, from one or two photos, and gives you a personality portrait according to the chosen angle (for example the full portrait or the Love angle).

This portrait is introspective entertainment. It is neither a diagnosis, nor medical, psychological or professional advice, nor a prediction, nor an assessment, and it forms the basis of no decision concerning you. You must not attribute any of these values to it.

The portrait is generated by artificial intelligence systems, from the form of the graphic gesture. We analyse the form, never the content of the text you wrote. The service does not identify the person by their handwriting, creates no biometric template, and never infers sensitive data (health, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, origin, political opinions).

3. Access, account and age

Using the service requires creating an account, by email and password or through an identity provider. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for the confidentiality of your credentials.

The service is available from the age of 13. Between 13 and 15, the agreement of a parent or holder of parental authority is required and is requested when the analysis is created.

You may analyse only your own handwriting or that of a person who consents to it. Analysing a third party's handwriting requires you to confirm their agreement or your right to do so.

4. Price and payment

The analysis of one angle is offered at the price of EUR 9.00 including all taxes, as a single payment giving lifetime access to the portrait concerned. There is no subscription, no later charge, and no hidden fee.

The displayed price is the price to pay. The applicable tax is calculated and included by our payment provider according to your country. Payment is made online, by card, through our secure provider; we never have access to your card details.

By validating the payment, you place an order with an obligation to pay. A confirmation email, which serves as proof of your purchase, is sent to you.

5. Immediate access and right of withdrawal

Your portrait is digital content supplied to you immediately after payment: full access is opened to you at once.

For a distance purchase, you are in principle entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, the law provides that this right does not apply to digital content whose supply has begun, with your prior express consent, before the end of that period, provided you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

This is the case here: when paying, you expressly request immediate access to your portrait and you acknowledge that, by obtaining it, you waive your right of withdrawal. This agreement is confirmed to you in the confirmation email. Consequently, once access to your portrait is opened, it can no longer be refunded on the basis of withdrawal.

This takes nothing away from the legal guarantee described below, nor from your right to a refund if the service was not correctly supplied.

6. Legal guarantee and complaints

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Belgian law for digital content. If your portrait is not correctly supplied to you (access not opened, unreadable content, an announced feature not delivered), we fix it or, failing that, refund you.

The perceived quality of a portrait, an entertainment product based on the form of your handwriting, does not in itself constitute a lack of conformity: the portrait matches its description as long as it is supplied to you as announced.

7. Refunds

When a refund is due, it is full. A refunded portrait is no longer accessible and cannot be repurchased: you may, if you wish, start a new analysis. As your photos remain linked to the subject, this requires no new upload from you.

If the same purchase was charged twice, or debited in error, we refund the excess charge without affecting your access to the portrait legitimately paid for.

8. Our liability

We undertake to provide the service diligently and to ensure its reasonable availability. The service may experience temporary interruptions, in particular for maintenance; we strive to limit them.

Given the nature of the service (entertainment at EUR 9.00), our liability for a portrait is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect damages. This limitation never applies in the event of our gross or intentional fault, of harm to your integrity, nor where it would impair your legal rights, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity.

You are solely responsible for the use you make of your portrait and of the handwriting you submit to us.

9. Intellectual property

The trademark, the analysis method, the texts, the visuals and the entire site remain the property of Capritora SRL. The portrait you obtain is provided to you for your personal use; it transfers to you no right over the method or the trademark.

10. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of your information. It sets out, in particular, your rights and how to exercise them.

11. Suspension and deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your personal area. We may suspend or close an account in the event of fraudulent, unlawful use or use contrary to these terms, without depriving you of any refund that would be due to you.

12. Dispute resolution, applicable law

In the event of difficulty, contact us first at hello@mysteryscript.com: we always favour an amicable solution.

Failing that, you may use, free of charge, the Consumer Mediation Service (Federal Public Service Economy, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, mediationconsommateur.be). For a cross-border dispute within the European Union, the European Consumer Centre (ECC Belgium, eccbelgium.be) can guide you.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. This does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence within the European Union.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your purchase. In the event of a significant change, we inform you by an appropriate means. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
